I often do small crafts that require glue or paint and need time to dry. While they are drying, I work on the next one. I used to move the ones drying to a tray. Once I knocked over the tray and ruined all of them and it was a mess to clean. This won't happen with this mat. I can just move each item to a different part of the mat and there is plenty of room for me to work on the next one. My table is 2" less wide than standard tables so I will cut it down slightly. Although it does not explicitly say this, not use as a cutting mat or rest your glue gun on it.

I love my new mat so much. It arrived super fast and in a nice box (perfect gift option). It is so chic that it is now a permanent fixture on my marble table. It's perfect for arts & crafts as well as messy little eaters. The quality is stunning, it looks and feel likes fine supple leather. HIGHLY recommended.

This mat is wonderful. Very nice quality and has a luxurious feel. Our only table space is an antique so this really helps for doing other things on the table besides eating. It's thick enough to keep paint, wetness, etc, from seeping through, however it is not strong enough to survive an exacto knife or sharp object pressed into it, and probably not high heat either. Light crafting would be it's best use. This is aesthetically so nice it would also make a lovely permanent table protector/cover for a small table.

We use it on the floor for play dough, on the table for craft and under the high chair for our 8 month old. I love that it looks like part of the furniture and can be left wherever we used it last. It wipes clean in seconds and can be easily stored if we need to pack it away. Really a lifesaver!

We have hardwood floors, so we were looking for something soft and safe for our 7-month-old who just started crawling, and our 3-year-old who’s always playing on the floor. This mat has been perfect. It’s cushioned enough for the baby but still firm enough for our toddler to build block towers and draw without everything wobbling.

It’s also super easy to clean. We’ve wiped off milk spills and play doh with no stains.

Really happy with it. We’ll probably get a second one for the playroom.

Couldn’t be happier with this mat. It’s been perfect for the whole family to use for meals, craft, art, homework, puzzles, games - anything really! It’s become a daily fixture on the table and makes cleaning up so easy - it looks great too, bonus! It’s also light and compact so we have been able to easily move it onto the floor or outside and roll it up and store it away when entertaining.

I mostly love that it doesn’t slip, slide or crinkle up when you sit on it and get up move around unlike other plastic mats we’ve used in the past. It also doesn’t blow away in the wind when playing outside!

This is the second mat from Lillefolk that I have purchased and I�m a big fan. This table mat protects my marble table from scratches, glue and various art and craft hazards while looking chic. It looks so good. I plan to leave it as a table cloth permanently!

Amazing, extremely large mat. Has a gray non slip backing and a very pretty pinky beige top color with a slight texture to it. The texture does require some extra wiping to get stains out well, but it covers a huge area and lets my baby go crazy with goop and food. Has a slight vinyl smell which dissipates after first use, so not an issue for me. Comes rolled up which wand no wrinkles once you use it. Extremely high quality and we will be using this for years to come

I am so happy with my everyday mat! I have purchased from lillefolk in the past, so I knew it would be high quality, but this mat sets a new standard. Thick and tactile, it just feels good to the touch. And it wipes clean with a damp sponge, so even after some heavy use it looks like it just came out of the box. It’s our new family favourite 😁
